The system already houses all the Payer ID #'s from Office Ally which is the clearinghouse we are fully integrated with for transmitting electronic claims. If you happen to have a verified Payer ID that is not appearing as an option when adding your insurance company to the system, you can add the Insurance Co & Payer ID here & it will then appear as an option when setting up your insurance company for electronic claims.
Go To: BILLING > OTHER UTILITY > PAYER IDS
TO ADD A PAYER ID:
Enter the Payer ID and insurance company
Click Save

It's important to verify a Payer ID as being a valid number recognized by Office Ally as this can vary among clearinghouses. To verify a Payer ID you can contact the Payer or visit www.officeally.com website under Resource List > Payer Lists. Most Major Medical will appear under Professional and Institutional while Auto/Worker Comps will show under the Worker Comp section. |
