4.2 Claims Management
Go To: BILLING > FINANCIAL > CLAIM MANAGEMENT
MANAGING CLAIMS:
This is where you can manage claims, search claims history for filed claims and view the status for Open/Pending/Closed claims & Insurance claims balances. To search claims, you must select the criteria below:
Note: Pending claims will be highlighted in green.
Claim Status: Enter the status type you'd like to search: Open/Closed/Pending/All
From/To Date: You must select a date range to search (anything over 60 days will be generated on the Report Tracking page under Billing Reports)
Optional: Ins. Payer, Provider, Include Archived Charges, or Patient
Aging By: Allows you to search claims by 'File Date', or by 'DOS'
Search
NOTE: Users have the ability to save filters. Once all criteria is selected, click "Save Filter". Filter will then be saved and available in the "Saved Filters" drop down. (Saved filters can also be deleted by clicking the "x" next to the filter)
Once you have set criteria and searched, all claims meeting the criteria entered will appear on the report.
You have the ability to complete individual actions per claim or bulk actions.
BULK AND INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS
You can utilize the icons at the top for bulk managing or the action column to manage an individual DOS
Refile- Will place claim in a Refile Status
If refiled it will ask you if you want to manage this claim now, if yes is selected will take you to print/send claims to manage the claim. See Section 4.3 regarding refiling.

Print to Form to view without HCFA Image
Preview/Print Image will show HCFA Background
Close
Export (Bulk only)
Export just the selected records to Excel
Export All records to Excel
